Today I share my thoughts on the above quote. well this is a bit tough.. but let me try.
we always seek perfection in all our activities. In this day and age where we have too many choices in almost any conceivable thing in life, we typically are confused on what to choose and spend eons to make a call. Be it getting a new car or as trivial as picking a dish from Buffet dinner.
Part of the reason for this conundrum is our search for perfection. we are worried that the we may choose the less perfect over The Perfect.
But is this the case? do we always need to have all the answers before even begin to sing? hardly. Well, that's easy to say you may think. is it not better to have all answers before starting? you may ask. well.. no. Don't trust me? let me explain with an example.
Lets say NASA designs a moon probe. They need to land the probe on a specific part of the moon to carry out environmental studies. While they may start with proper analysis on the materials to use for making the probe, to what sensors they need to place , to the trajectory that they need to follow from earth to moon, do you think they only launch the probe after making sure they have all details about the trajectory? absolutely not. The only way to make sure we land a rocket in moon successfully is to launch and let the rocket monitor and course correct its path repeatedly until it reaches its goal.
so start that Novel that you always want to write, enroll to the degree that you always want to do even if you do not have all the answers in the beginning. For its better to do something good enough everyday than doing it perfect once in a blue moon.
